Rossi Moor heads to Jerez looking to build on his double Top 10 finish at Estoril. The American-Hungarian #92 rider returns to FIM MOTOJunior Moto2 action after a strong weekend in Portugal. Sunday’s race will be streamed live on YouTube.

After a positive weekend at Estoril, Rossi Moor #92 is ready for the next round of the FIM MOTOJunior Moto2 Championship at Circuito de Jerez Ángel Nieto, one of the most technical and historic venues in international motorcycle racing.

The young American-Hungarian rider arrives in Andalusia after scoring two consecutive Top 10 results in Portugal, finishing 9th in Race 1 and 8th in Race 2 at Estoril. Thanks to those results, Rossi currently sits 8th in the championship standings with 24 points, confirming his progress and his increasingly consistent presence in the upper part of the Moto2 MOTOJunior field.

Jerez is not an entirely new reference point for Rossi this season. In early May, the #92 rider already took part in the official test at the Andalusian circuit, collecting positive feedback both in terms of pace and technical work with the Moto2 bike. Last week, Rossi also returned to Jerez for a one-day training session with his Aprilia RSV4 Factory, a useful opportunity to maintain rhythm, references and feeling ahead of the race weekend.

The Spanish circuit demands precision, braking stability, tire management and strong corner-entry sensitivity. For Rossi, it will be another important benchmark as he continues working to improve the early part of the weekend, especially qualifying, while confirming the race pace shown in recent rounds.

The goal for the weekend is clear: start strong from practice, build a solid qualifying performance and fight again for points and the Top 10. After Estoril, the priority is continuity, turning technical progress into a more consistent level of performance across the full race weekend. The Jerez round is also expected to be a demanding physical challenge, with ambient temperatures forecast around 38-39°C and track temperatures that could easily climb above 55°C. In those conditions, focus, tire management and the ability to maintain a stable pace over the full race distance will be especially important.

Rossi Moor continues his international path in FIM MOTOJunior Moto2, one of the key stepping stones toward the Moto2 World Championship and the Road to MotoGP. With his American and Hungarian background, the #92 rider is becoming an increasingly interesting profile for both Hungarian and international motorsport.

Rossi Moor #92: “After Estoril, we arrive in Jerez with more confidence, but we know we still have to keep working. The double Top 10 result was important, but our goal is to keep improving, especially in the first part of the weekend and in qualifying. Jerez is a technical track where you need to be precise and consistent. I want to build the weekend well and fight again near the front of the field.”

Alessandro Tognelli, Crew Chief, Rossi Moor #92: “The goal for the weekend is clear: start strong from practice, build a solid qualifying performance and fight again for points and the Top 10. After Estoril, the priority is continuity, turning technical progress into a more consistent level of performance across the full race weekend. The Jerez round is also expected to be a demanding physical challenge, with ambient temperatures forecast around 38-39°C and track temperatures that could easily climb above 55°C. In those conditions, focus, tire management and the ability to maintain a stable pace over the full race distance will be especially important.”
