2023 Washougal Nationwide Motocross Outcomes, Video, Protection

Jett Lawrence continued his undefeated streak within the 450MX class of the 2023 AMA Professional Motocross Nationwide Championship Collection, beating runner-up Chase Sexton twice on the 2023 Washougal Nationwide Motocross spherical at Washougal MX Park in Washington.

There have been a few minor chinks in Lawrence’s armor, as Dylan Ferrandis was credited with two holeshots, whereas Aaron Plessinger led the three opening laps of the 16-lap second motor. Lawrence was challenged by Sexton late into moto 2 till Sexton stalled his engine going into the Washougal chicane on lap 13, permitting Lawrence to cruise to the win.

Jason Anderson transformed 4-4 finishes right into a P3 total, Anderson’s first podium of the 2023 AMA Professional Motocross Nationwide Championship Collection. Ferrandis went 3-5 for a P4 total, with Plessinger rounding out the highest 5 with a 7-3 spherical.

The collection takes a two-weekend break earlier than resuming at Unadilla MX in New Berlin, New York, on August 12. If Lawrence wins each motos on the Unadilla Nationwide, he’ll clinch the 2023 AMA Professional Motocross Nationwide Championship.
