Josh Herrin topped MotoAmerica Steel Commander Superbike Test Session Four Thursday evening at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, in Lexington, Ohio. Riding his Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati Panigale V4 R on Dunlop Sportmax Slicks, Herrin covered the 2.4-mile course in 1:24.788.
Three-time and defending Champion Jake Gagne was the best of the rest with a 1:25.395 on his Attack Performance/Progressive Yamaha YZF-R1.
Bobby Fong climbed the results sheet to third with a time of 1:25.612 on his Wrench Motorcycles Yamaha.
Herrin’s teammate Loris Baz was fourth-fastest at 1:25.668.
Rookie sensation Sean Dylan Kelly rounded out the top five in the final session with a lap of 1:25.846 on his EasyHealthPlans.com/TopPro Racing BMW M 1000 RR.
