Jorge Martin received the MotoGP World Championship Dash Race Saturday night time at Lusail Worldwide Circuit, in Doha, Qatar. Using his Prima Pramac Racing Ducati, Martin received the 11-lap race by 0.391 second.
Fabio Di Giannantonio was the runner-up on his Gresini Racing Ducati. Pole-sitter Luca Marini completed third on his Mooney VR46 Racing Workforce Ducati.
Di Giannantonio’s teammate Alex Marquez was fourth, and defending World Champion Francesco Bagnaia positioned fifth on his Lenovo Workforce Ducati.
Martin’s win mixed with Bagnaia’s fifth-place end decreased Bagnaia’s lead within the level standings from 14 to seven over Martin.
