Maverick Vinales received the FIM MotoGP World Championship race, the Crimson Bull Grand Prix of The Americas, Sunday at Circuit of The Americas (COTA), in Austin, Texas.
Using his manufacturing facility Aprilia RS-GP, Vinales received the 20-lap race by 1.728 seconds over rookie sensation Pedro Acosta and his Crimson Bull Tech3 GASGAS.
Lenovo Ducati’s Enea Bastianini made a late-race move to steal third from Jorge Martin, who completed fourth on his Prima Pramac Racing Ducati.
Bastianini’s teammate, two-time and defending MotoGP World Champion Francesco Bagnaia rounded out the highest 5 finishers.
