Replace following FIM EWC Suzuka 8 Hours
Throughout the Put up-Race Technical Inspection on 7 August following the forty fourth Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race on 6 August, motorbike no.104 (TOHO Racing), which completed in second place, was subjected to a gas tank capability management by the FIM Technical Administrators.
The management recorded a gas tank overcapacity in contravention of article 2.6.6.10 of the 2023 FIM Endurance World Championship Laws.
As is required, a secondary gas tank capability management was performed by one other FIM Technical Director with a gas tank overcapacity additionally recorded.
The FIM EWC Stewards Panel convened to contemplate the proof supplied by the FIM Technical Director and declared motorbike no.104 didn’t conform to the 2023 FIM Endurance World Championship Laws and disqualified motorbike no.104 from the outcomes of the forty fourth Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race.
